Due to the onslaught of Big 12 quarterbacks taking over the college football's statistical leaderboards, Colt McCoy is quietly having a tremendous season in his third year as QB of the Texas Longhorns.
McCoy is currently 10th in the nation in total offense averaging 319 yards/game. We've all known McCoy is fairly mobile, but one of the more surprising stats for a top 10 teams is that Colt leads the Longhorns in rushing with 319 yards and four rushing touchdowns to compliment his 16 through the air.
That's great and all, but like Tim Tebow has learned, taking hits downfield takes it's toll. Then again, thanks to EDSBS it appears Colt McCoy is well aware of taking shots, most of them cheap.
