Last night Eck was in rare form as the Red Sox took on the Mets. First, Eck let the audience know exactly what Kevin Youkilis said after getting hit in the arm by Johan Santana, which he probably shouldn't have done.
That was then followed by Eck producing this awesome Freudian slip when Justin Masterson was pitching.
Playing with him indeed.
Anyway, Eck has been on a roll since he got in the booth. In April he even let us know that Brad Penny's fastball was a tad effeminate.
"He's a little gay with his cheese."
Priceless. Here's hoping baseball's Emmitt Smith sticks around for awhile.
