Director of NFL Officiating Admits Jaguars Should Have Been Called for Holding on David Garrard Scramble

Apparently it's way too late apology week.

Tuesday, Moises Alou finally admitted he wouldn't have caught that infamous Steve Bartman ball, anyway. Following his lead, but decided to take care of it 4 years earlier, director of NFL officiating Mike Peirera said there should have been a holding call in this 4th and 2 David Garrard scramble.

You'd figure that Jacksonville wouldn't have converted on 4th and 12 and Pittsburgh would have advanced. I suppose we can chalk this up to some karmic payback for a few fortunate calls in the Steelers Super Bowl victory.

Either way, Steelers fans are obviously pleased.
