On Saturday, Dominic Moore made one of the more heady NHL plays I've seen in a while. His stick broke during a game against the Vancouver Canucks, right before a breakaway opportunity. Since it's illegal to play with a broken stick, he started kicking the puck down the ice, and passed it to teammate Jason Blake, whose shot was blocked by Roberto Luongo.
Nice play by Moore, but perhaps he should have considered a career in soccer. If he can do this on the ice, imagine what he could do on a field... with cleats, instead of skates.
