We've hit the Brett Favre story as often as anyone, so I admit some guilt as well, but it's good to see that ESPN is willing to make fun of themselves a little bit with this one. And now we know how they relay information, which would also explain how they occasionally mis-report some huge stories. Apparently Chris Mortensen is on the other side of the building from where this clever game of "telephone" starts, so sometimes a few words get mixed up. It's not the anonymous sources, it's the middle men.
