Too bad the SEC was void of exciting football this weekend. It was 3 ovetimes last night that ended LSU's BCS championships hopes. Tonight it was 4OT's that put the Tennessee Volunteers into the SEC title game against the Tigers.
Erik Ainge threw an impressive 7 touchdown passes, one of which even impressed Kentucky coach Rich Brooks. What a great f-ing catch.
What an incredible game. 52-50. Despite the win, I think it's too bad the best two SEC teams aren't playing one another (LSU-UGA), and you could argue the Vols are only the 4th best. Unfortunately for LSU, a win over Georgia could have boosted their rankings back into contention for the BCS title game, but one over the Vols might not be that encouraging. Either way, yet another fun day in the world of college football.
Tennessee 52, Kentucky 50
