Erin Andrews Peephole Video Paparazzi 911 Call
Media

In Case You Forgot, "Paparazzi" And "Classy" Don't Belong In The Same Sentence. Shocking, I Know.

At the same time as Erin Andrews was plastered all over the news for being the unknowing (and naked) subject of a hidden camera video, the ever-classy paparazzi were following her around pretty much all the time, even at her home, which is apparently in a gated community.

The 911 call is in the above video, and you can tell that Erin is pretty upset about it.

"I have been in the news recently about being in the hotel naked and I have paparazzi outside and I was told by law enforcement that if I did, to call 911 ... I'm the girl who was videotaped without her knowing without her clothes on in her hotel ... I'm in a gated community. I don't know how they got in ... I did nothing wrong and I'm being treated like f------ Britney Spears and it sucks."

The crazy part is that the 911 operator had no idea what she was talking about. I guess if you spend all day fielding calls about stuff that ends up in the news, reading about or watching even more of it is the last thing you'd want to do.

You mean like Princess Diana?

That Paps certainly didn't help, but it was her inebriated driver that was the main cause for that accident.

It is just a matter of time before one of these paparazzi seriously injure someone, or are seriously injured themselves.  This Erin Andrews incident is one of the worst thus far.  First, she was videotaped without her consent.  The manner of how she was videotaped is sickening.  The paparazzi are ruining people's lives.  I understand that if a person is on television, nowadays they are considered "celebrities".  That is what the paparazzi wants...celebrities.  But there has to be law put into place regarding the way they go about doing their "job".  Erin Andrews is great at her job, and also happens to be beautiful.  The way she is being treated is un-fair.  And it is sad.

They need to start arresting these creeps for stalking -- period. If that happens to them enough, perhaps they'd start reconsidering whether the money they make from their smut stories is worth it. They basically killed Princess Diana. Just how far does it have to go???

Invasion of privacy trumps Freedom of Press, especially if you are just trying to relax at your home.
I hope they start to nail some of these clowns. From Princess Diana to now it's gone way too far.

As disgusting as these idiots are, I can't help but feel that she is somewhat happy about the mainstream exposure she is getting from this.

such as news reporters and investigators have guidelines to follow, why dont these wolves called the papparazzi have limitations? Violations are still violations, prosecute them to the fullest!  Freedom of speech is for the individual not the money hungry media who are so nosy to invade personal space and privacy, restrict them and persecute them as they do the celebs they infringe upon

Ok, let me rephrase.... what's the difference between being a member of the paparazzi and a stalker?

It's a fine line.

According to the National Center for Victims of Crime website, in the state of California (where many celebrities reside) the first point pursuant to the stalking law defines a stalker as "any person who willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly follows or willfully and maliciously harasses another person..."

Since the paparazzi don't have malicious intent (meaning they're not trying to hurt celebrities), they're in the clear.

Hey, it's the price of being famous. If you don't like, don't become famous.

If I did that I'd be in jail, This guy is like a dumpster fire waiting to happen, It's time to get them all off the street, But as long as people buy this stuff and they do, Then this guy will alway's have a job, That is one sad way to make a living,
