Appalachian State must feel like they're at the center of a Hollywood script with the way their season has transpired. Would you write it any differently?
Pick a small college town in the south (Boone, NC. Check.); have them beat one of college football's most historic heavyweights (Michigan. Check.); have them lose a few close games putting their season success in doubt (Wofford/Georgia So. Check.); and then have them climb their way back to the national championship game (Tonight. Check). Adding onto it the fact that Appalachian State will be facing a team wearing essentially the same jerseys as the school who they monumentally upset in Game is almost too much.
