I'm not sure how you celebrated your Father's Day, but hopefully it didn't involve taking your daughter to a baseball game...and then you getting into a massive fight.

But hey, one brave dad did exactly that at the Yankees/Marlins game yesterday. I'm not sure what exactly started it, but either way, does it really matter? Needless to say, little girl didn't have the best Father's Day.

Also, why in the hell are there so many Yankees fans down in Miami? I mean, that's like the equivalent of me as a Giants fan flying to Kansas City for an interleague between the Giants and Royals. In other words, it's something no rational person should ever do. But then, when have Yankees fans ever been rational?

The whole thing is mess and the ones that suffer most are the kids unfortunately. No matter how much of an idiot someone acts like your better off ignoring them and teaching your children the better part of valor. Instead of making a bad situation worse. You can always call security and have the person removed if they are being vulgar and moronic. Show the kids that fighting isn't the answer. I feel bad for that little girl she's the one that's really left scarred.

1	Well what will be in-store for Arbor Day? Miami having Yankee Fans makes total sense, so many New Yorkers come down, or have family that retire in Florida. Miami and Tampa might as well be home games for the Yanks.

used to be true in Tampa...many have switched to the Rays ...bandwagons are a powerful thing.....but yes absolutely Florida is full of current or ex Yankee and Braves fans

1	Until they showed the little girl sitting in her seat half way thru the video, I thought it was just stupidity, but if that guy doesn't end up being investigated by child services, the way these kinds of things are looked at now, it will be a miracle. Poor girl, I hope this doesn't end up being even worse for her than it already is.

Here is the scene after the game, it's very sad....

And I'll say, yes I have been one of those guys who has had a rumble in the stands. One of the worst things I ever did, and one that I wish I could take back, was when I took my kids to see a Diamondbacks/Rangers game and some D-Backs fan tried to give my kids an AZ rattle (they were like these little things that looked like a rattlesnake tail) and I refused to let my kids take it. I told the guy my kids were Rangers fans and didn't need an AZ rattle. Things kind of spun out of control after that...

But I'm a lot better now, really. It's totally been like 2 years since I was in a fight in the stands in front of my kids on Father's Day.
