Georgia was looking like the team that ran through the SEC tournament last week for the first 30 minutes against 3-seed Xavier. Up 9 at halftime, and by as many as 11 points in the second half.
Unfortunately with about 10 minutes remaining the Dawgs started looking like the team that had to play 4 games in 3 days while Xavier woke up. This 8-0 changed the game and saved many brackets.
Josh Duncan let the way for the Musketeers with 20, while Derrick Brown followed with 19 and 11.
Whew.
Xavier 73, Georgia 61

I was in DC for this game and I'll tell you, it was almost like a downtown DC street fight! It was fun to watch. Duke-Belmont was a classic! Made up for going to the bar at halftime of the Baylor game and missing the WVU-Arizona game (we just couldn't bear sitting next to WVU fans!!)

So that game was a little closer than I wanted it to be but X moves on and that is all that matters. Give credit to Georgia... that is one gutty team!
