The Grace Lutheran Eagles basketball team might be good. I really have no idea. However, based on this particular video, I'm guessing that they're really not.
I'm not basing this on any expert opinion or any extensive evaluation of their play. I'm merely basing it on the fact that during a game, they felt the need to run the "barking dog" inbounds play. One player, presumably the guy who never should have been on the team in the first place, gets on his hands and knees and starts barking like a dog as his teammate inbounds the ball underneath their own basket.
The goal is apparently to distract and confuse their opponent, since the concept of putting the ball in the hoop against a perfectly capable defense is too far fetched. Boise State this is not.
I'm just glad I never played varsity basketball in high school. I totally would have been the idiot on the floor barking like a dog. Good thing they don't do that in baseball. Yet.

I hear you...but that would be considered a "dirty" play.....

if barking like a dog is the only way that they can think of then go............after all its their play not ours.we are not in the field to know what they felt and react with the situation. its just a strategy i guessed.nice one

I like "in the box" strategy...if you know what I mean!

What's wrong with creativity??? I enjoy all "out of the box" stratgies that are within the rules!

I discovered early in my 7th grade Latin class that if I barked like a dog, my teacher would put me out in the hall. For the rest of the year, I barked immediately upon entering. I considered every day a victory.

i can just imagine a first baseman getting down and barking like a dog to distract the batter. STRIKE 3!
