Much like the good folks over at Mr Irrelevant, I'll freely admit that I'm not a huge hockey fan. Everyone has their reasons. Some people just don't like the violence. Some people can't follow the puck. Some people were alienated by the lockout. Personally, my reason for disliking hockey is simply that I can't ice skate for crap. I played organized baseball for 17 years, at one level or another, so I became a huge baseball fan. My parents never let me play football in school, but I played a lot of pickup games with friends, so I got into that as well.

But ice skating was always a different animal for me. I have no idea what it is, but I could never ice skate. For that reason, and that reason alone, I just never got into hockey. I'm sure I would have liked it, had I been able to play.

Anyway, enough of my ranting. One thing that I DO love about hockey is the fact that if a fight breaks out, you don't see everyone rushing in to break it up, like you do in other sports. Everyone gets out of the way, and lets them slug it out, until someone goes to the ground. I love it.

Bottom line: I will post as many awesome fight videos as I can possible find. Enjoy.

In none of these did anyone on the other team jump in to start a fight to defend their guy. That's how you can win a Conn Smythe with only hits.
