Hungarian weightlifter Janos Baranyai dislocated (snapped) his arm during the men's 77kg weightlifting event. Although here in the States we kindly say that he is no longer physically able to perform, some foreign sources say that he "quit" the event. Ouch... I don't think I could bring myself to call this guy a quitter. He was trying to lift 145kg (about 320lb), and pretty much failed miserably. Here's a picture, courtesy of Yahoo.
This is probably the most gruesome injury so far this year in the Olympics. Yes, it beats the guy who landed on his head at the basketball halftime show.
