Baseball in the snow? No problem!

Blog Photo - Indiana and Xavier play baseball in the snowThe University of Indiana baseball team hosted Xavier in their season opener, and it was probably a little too cold for baseball.

By that, I mean there was snow on the ground and even more snow in the stands, where a small number of fans gathered to see the 17th-ranked Hoosiers beat Xavier 2-1.

The Indiana coach wore an electric vest underneath his uniform, as temperatures were in the low 30s for the game.

I'm no expert, but I think there probably would have been a way to avoid this nonsense. But hey, I guess they made the best of it.
