Tremendous tennis match on ESPN2 late last night and well into this morning for those who stayed up way past their bed time.

Janko Tipsarevic, a very likeable up-and-coming Serbian, had Roger Federer on the ropes up two sets to one. 4 hours and 27 minutes later Pong finally got the best of the literature buff, winning 10-8 in the final set.

Tipsarevic earned a standing ovation for his efforts. Hardly a consolation prize, but I'm guessing we see Janko in the victory column a few times than anyone else anticipates this season.

I am watching the replay on ESPN2 right now. I also so happened to wake up in time to watch the last two sets of the Baghdatis and Hewitt match. A day like yesterday in the Australian Open makes me want to become a tennis fan.
