Anyway, she was on ESPN right before the Yankees/White Sox game last night interviewing Joba Chamberlain about his recovering father, when at the end of the interview, Joba mouthed something to her that caused her to turn away in disgust.
Home Run Derby thinks he mouthed "I love you." I think it's slightly worse than that.
All I know is that a vet like Andrews wouldn't do something like this unless she was really offended.
The rational thought is that Joba's teammates put him up to this, but I just like how Joba did this right after being interviewed about his recovering sick father. If there's possibly a worse or more awkward time to hit on a female reporter than that, I'd love to hear it.
Anyway, what makes all of this even better is that Joba suffered his first MLB loss later that evening. The curse of hitting on Erin Andrews? Sure, why not.
No, but thanks for the token response when logic comes into play in the middle of a ridiculous omgitserinandrews sleepover hair braiding session.
I've seen him in other interviews, and read about him. He's a big time family guy, and a humble country boy in general. His dad is his best friend and has raised him by himself while wheelchair bound most of his life.
I also can't picture another Yankee putting him up to this. Maybe Hank Steinbrenner, but the players are all professionals.
The only thing worse than people pretending a guy can screw with a reporter while mourning the impending death of his dad - which is the topic of the reporter's interview - is if he actually did it. He didn't. If he did, he's f'd in the head.
Also, if he wanted to, he could bend Erin over in the dugout as soon as the cameras quit rolling. He's Joba freaking Chamberlain. And despite her hotness, she's still just a lowly reporter, and would welcome such opportunity.
A-Rod is a professional...He takes up their company while in Canada!
