Joe Calzaghe beat Roy Jones Jr. last night in their light heavyweight fight by unanimous decision. Jones didn't really look bad, and even started off the night with a knockdown of Calzaghe in the first round. However, the rest of the fight was pretty well dominated by Calzeghe, who walked away with a victory on the judges' scorecards, 118-109.

Both fighters have mentioned retirement after this fight. Jones is 39 and Calzaghe is 34, and both fighters have 45+ fights under their belt. If Calzaghe were to retire, he would finish his career with a perfect 46-0 record, and as the best post-war fighter that Britain has seen, according to some. Jones has held the title in 4 different weight classes, and was called the best pound for pound fighter in the world in the 1990's.
