Jourdan Brooks Of Rutgers Has Dreadlock Pulled Out Of His Head

Here's Why You Shouldn't Play Football With Dreadlocks

For the three of you who watched the Rutgers/Louisville game last night, you were treated to an onslaught of offensive football by Rutgers, which racked up 63 points in a blowout win. That included the work of Jourdan Brooks, who ran for 124 yards on only 11 carries.

My guess though is that Louisville got a little tired of getting crushed and ultimately did about the only thing they possibly could - which was have one of their guys latch on to Brooks' dreadlocks for a tackle, and actually pull one out in the process.

By the way, I like how Chris Fowler asks "Does it hurt?"

No Chris, I'm 100% sure it doesn't hurt at all to have a 180 lbs. man hanging from your hair while you run down the field.

Loved it when Britt layed the lumber on that receiver

What happened to Brooks' hair is not as bad as what Rutgers did to Louisville's dignity.

I have never understood how in the hell they can play with any kind of hair out, let alone dreadlocks. You can't tuck dreadlocks up into a helmet without creating another issue of pain. I have been pretty committed to some hairstyles in my day (pinks, reds, blues, etc) but if they ever caused physical pain, it's gotta go.
