In the NASCAR hate list, Kyle Busch is unquestionably #1 right now, and right behind him is Juan Pablo Montoya. For the most part, this is due to their overly aggressive driving styles and less than winning personalities (and in the case of JPM, possibly his nationality). This all came to a head with JPM got mad at Busch about something, and responded the way reasonable men do, by wrecking Busch.



Normally, the offending driver talks about it was "unfortunate," thanks his sponsors, and talks about getting ready for next week. Did Montoya? Nope, he admitted it was intentional.

"We always give each other lots of room," Montoya said of Busch. "But he went wide like I wasn't there. Then I got beside him and he started banging me like he was trying to wreck me. I looked at him like, 'What are you doing?' " Montoya had no problem admitting he deliberately ran into Busch's car. "Yeah. I did what he did to me," Montoya said. "I don't appreciate people who race me like that. There's a fine line and he crossed it."

While I'm sure many are happy this happened to Kyle Busch, it's obvious you can't do what Montoya did, using your car as a weapon like that. He was rightfully assessed a 2 lap penalty during this race, and if NASCAR decided to park him for a race or two, I wouldn't argue.

That might be the safest thing for JPM and the rest of the field, since next week is Daytona, a bad place for someone to get revenge.

Things happen . Montoya is a former Indy Winner and F1 driver . What happened was a track misunderstanding . Nascar will fine the drivers and they will work it out .

You have to remember Mantoya wrecked his own teammate at Mexico .

About time someone stood up to kyle. They let that skinny runt intmidate them. I have seen him is person and he is nothing but a mouth. He is gonna piss of someone that can really hurt him one day. Like a Tony Stewart or someone that runs up front and gonna put him in the wall everytime

i agree with you    poor poor  kyle  my heart  bleed just for him  after what he  did to junior  .he get what he deserves.....

Kyle is making to many enemies. When your running for a title like he is, it does not pay to have people like Juan Monotya mad at you because you get wrecked in the chase you will not win. I use to like kyle when he was with Hendrick because I am a jeff gordon fan. I think Kyle is a better driver than Junior but he is hated unlike Junior who is Loved. Trust me Rick Hendrick took jr because jr is worth more money to him than all of his other drivers. I just hope for one thing that Jr nationwide driver does not get a cup ride in any of the hendrick rides #5, #24, #48 or #88.  I am going out next year as soon as the new mark martin hats come out with the #5 logo.

junior  has alot of fans  this is  true  and kyle  has made a ton of  enemies i waiting for him   to try  his  dirty games with  smoke  and kyle  will be up in flames.junior can hold his own   in any car and he  deserve  it just as much as anyone  else he had a good year. you know there alot of people proud to be in the junior nation you may ask your self why is that !!!!!

Actually i think Tony was the reason he got the ride at Gibbs . But I'm sure others don't . Kevin being one . But then again a lot of people didn't like DW either .

I have the race on disc and none of the parties were very happy including the owners .  Juan also drive highly aggresive in F-1 and was wearing out his welcome there quickly

Tony was not the reason Kyle went there.  Here are the reasons that Kyle went to Joe Gibbs racing that are way ahead of your reason which is not true which I will explain.1. Dale Earnhardt takes his ride. 2.JJ Yeley really sucks hence Kyle Took his ride . 3.Did not get along with other Hendrick drivers.4. Joe Gibbs, joe gibbs has amazing talent at bring the best out in football players no one wanted.5. Money Dale Earnhardt is the biggest cash cow in nascar worth way more to sponsors then 5 kyles will ever be thats why hendrick let him go. 6 .Spring 2007 race at Texas Kyle Leaves track after wrecking when the car was ready to go back out no Kyle, not a team player.7. Kyle wrecked to many cars did not know how to take it easy when his car was not the best. 8. Kyles mouth, he hated the cars and said it way to much, .   Why do you think Tony wanted him at JGR? Tony does not want to be there himself, not because of Kyle or denny. He wants to Drive a Chevy!! He would rather drive a crappy Hass CC chevy then a great toyota. I am not picking on chevys because I love chevys.

Duh, they're teammates.
You just don't like him because he's the most aggressive driver on the track week-in and week-out. NASCAR hasn't neutered him yet like they have every other driver in the series. What the hell happened to the way they used to race back in the late 70's and early 80's: all=out all the time?

Most of what you said is true. One thing you left out is that Rick Hendrick HIMSELF has admitted to is that he never took the time to get to know Kyle on a personal level and REGRETS letting him go. You REALLY think Casey Mears is a better driver on any team than Kyle Busch?

Casey has a problem --Not winning but the 5 car has always been a third car . Remember Terry Labonte drove that car and get one win . Brian Vickers Drove that car  and won one race ( off course he did pull Jeff out of the way)

um last years pepsi 400! Denny wrecks tony. Team mates mean nothing in nascar. Teamates mean a lot more in other sports.

I never said casey mears was a better driver than anyone. Last year when all the junior stuff came up casey was not even half way through his first season at hendrick. Rick hendrick thought casey had more talent than casey really does but oh well. He saw Kyle wreck many cars and get into arguments with jeff and jimmy.   This is a fact of hendrick motorsports. Jeff gordon is the #1 driver at that company always will be no matter what. Jeff owns the majorty of the #48 and minority owner of the 24#. Jeff did not really care for kyle and that was an unspoken reason kyle was released instead of casey. It was a huge mistake to let kyle go but Kyle would not have won this many races in his old car the #5.  Kyle and joe gibbs racing plus toyota power fit like a glove. Kyle is like the jeff gordon of the mid 1990's.  Just dominates.
