It's pretty difficult to get booed after singing the National Anthem. Not everyone sings it perfectly, and far too many try making into their own single, but unless your name is Carl Lewis it's rare you get booed.
American pop singer Kat Deluna butchered the Star-Spangled Banner before the Cowboys-Eagles Monday Night Football game as part of Hispanic Heritage Month the NFL was celebrating.
So bad, in fact, that the Cowboys couldn't wait to begin the boos. Good thing this wasn't in Philly.
I thought it was horrible she was off tune like at least half of the song, and she tried to make it hip hop, i guess the younger generation does not understand the meaning of the song or just dont care about american heritage.
I agree with Critical Fanatic.... too often the singers try to make it "their own"..... They need to realize, IT'S NOT! This is our National Anthem, it should be respected as such and sung the way it should be.
