If you had Kelly Tilghman in your "First Female Member of Augusta Pool," go ahead and pat yourself on the back.

Golf Channel's Tilghman, who's the first full-time female play-by-play broadcaster in the history of the PGA Tour, opted for a poor choice of words during coverage of the tour's opening event. She channeled her inner Fuzzy Zoeller and suggested that today's young players "lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley." Juuuust a bit outside.

Fortunately for her, Tiger Woods considers Kelly a good friend and sees the comment as a "non-issue." Tilghman has since apologized.

The elephant in the room is the obvious fact that if this comment was said by a white male play-by-play broadcaster he'd have been fired long before being allowed to apologize for what was merely just a poor choice of words.

Despite the added scrutiny, the good news for Kelly is that William "Hootie" Johnson should be calling any day now.
