The Best Baseball Catch You Will See This Week

I always enjoy controversial baseball catches, and this one has me scratching my head a little. On Monday, outfielder Kenny Burns for the University of Rhode Island made this rather insanely awesome catch against Northeastern (courtesy of Jimmy Traina at Hot Clicks).

The question is: Does a catch actually count if the is fence swinging open while you catch it? I guess in a 10-1 game, the answer is yes. My other question is what the hell is that field they're playing on and also, since this game was played on 4/20, I can't be the only one who thinks the announcer was high as a damn kite.

Of course, if you catch the ball before the ball before you go over the fence, that counts as an out. Just like what this guy did.

And because I'm on a video clip binge of awesome catches at the wall, here's one where the guy didn't catch it, but he did hit the wall really hard.

I like the last one best, but then again, I'm a sadist.

since he plays right the yankees should sign him to help catch all those homers hit out in right field and that should fix the problem

And his teammate comes over to help him put the fence back together... and doesn't even acknowledge the catch... BOOO!!!
