I can only hope you received as good a present as Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers received Christmas Day.

A mature and at times dominant Andrew Bynum that outplayed the Phoenix Suns Amare Stoudemire. 28 points on 11-of-13 shooting with 12 rebounds in the post will bring LA wins every time out with Bryant on the perimeter.

I haven't watched the Lakers very often this season, and while they're not in the Spurs territory yet, I was pleasantly surprised. Kobe and the Lakers botched this summer in the PR department by every conceivable means, but in the end I think all parties will get what they wanted.

Hardly a bold prediction, but I think Bynum begins a very lengthy All-Star streak next season with a Lakers trip to the Western finals.

While the young center was the headline, Trevor Ariza provide an awesome highlight dunk over Grant Hill. Ouch.
