I'm sure some of you are aware of who Kwame Kilpatrick is. He's by far the most corrupt big city mayor in the United States. He just recently got charged with 8 felonies including perjury, misconduct in office, and obstruction of justice. That's all piled on top of the fact that he had an infamous stripper party back in 2002 just after he got elected and one of the strippers was supposedly gunned down by a police officer to officially silence her.

So naturally Kilpatrick's the mayor of Detroit.

Anyway, Kilpatrick addressed the 1.4 million people who came out to see the Red Wings parade the other day and he got booed big time, despite name dropping a few Red Wings players while at the podium.

So how do you save yourself in a situation like that? Tell everyone the beer is on you!

A classic Machiavellian move. And you know what, it works me. 8 felony counts? So what. This man bought me a beer. Let's keep him in office.
