The bad news for Ohio State is they got worked by another SEC team in a national championship, the good news is at least the basketball team won't suffer the same fate.

Dissect the game from any angle you wish, LSU was just flat out the better team and without a doubt the best team in the country. I'd love to see an LSU-Georgia or LSU-USC and-1 game but the Tigers didn't blow it against Stanford and beat Tennessee. Regular season still means something.

I did pick LSU to win it all in August, but as a Big Ten fan I remain disappointed by the conference champion failing to man up in the big game. SEC is clearly chief right now and will be for some time. More on the game in the morning, for now all I can think about is Les Miles this classic press conference. You have a great day.
