Man oh man, if you like defensive football games (which I don't), then do we ever have a game for you tonight. Well, not us, but ESPN does.6th ranked LSU visits Auburn, a place where the LSU hasn't won since 1998. The last time LSU visited Auburn was a 7-3 loss on Sept. 16, 2006. Eleven of the last 18 matchups have been decided by a touchdown or less, including four in a row.
As you're probably well aware of, Auburn beat lowly Mississippi State 3-2 last weekend, so they'll need a little more offense tonight to seal the deal. However, their defense is ridiculous so far this season, having given up only 15 points in three games.
LSU, meanwhile, has played no one of consequence, having warmed up against Appalachian State and North Texas (they had a game against Troy postponed). So LSU may suddenly have an awful hard doing much against the Auburn defense.
57% of you say LSU is winning this one. And I'll follow your lead.
My prediction: LSU 2, Auburn -4. Just kidding, although it won't be much more than that. LSU 13, Auburn 7.
By the way, as an added bonus, here's my all time favorite Auburn-related YouTube clip below.
