That's all LeBron needed on the sideline inbounds play after Paul George completed a perfect 3/3 free throws after being fouled on a three point attempt by Dwyane Wade. The Pacers took a one-point lead with 2.2 seconds remaining. A Miami Heat timeout allowed Erik Spoelstra to draw up a heavy movement play to free up LeBron at the top of the key.
Ray Allen came off a screen, then Chris Bosh moved into the deep corner followed by his defender, and then LeBron curled up into the top of the key, about 18 feet from the basket. Paul George was defending James, however, once Lebron realized George's feet were off balance, he took the opportunity to take the ball to the cup, specifically because Roy Hibbert was not protecting the rim from his seat on the bench.
One left-handed dribble and a few steps later, LeBron released the ball with 0.03 left on the clock, and it dropped through the net as time expired for a thrilling OT Game 1 victory over the Indiana Pacers - looks like this series will be reminiscent of older Eastern Conference Finals battles where it was blow for blow, tit for tat.
