There's really no telling why Leonard Washington delivered this crippling nut shot to Blake Griffin, but here are a few possibilities:
1) He doesn't like guys who dress in drag.
2) He's jealous of guys who are much better basketball players than him.
3) He's angry because his team simply didn't measure up last night.
4) He's upset about the BCS rankings, which have USC out of the running for a National Championship.
No matter what his motives were, it's clear that Leonard Washington had some sort of vendetta against Blake Griffin, and chose to take it out on his... well... groin.Washington was ejected, as he should have been, and Griffin seems like he recovered fine, as he finished with 25 points and 6 rebounds. His brother Taylor also came up big, with 10 points and 9 boards, as Oklahoma beat USC last night, 73-72.
It's a shame that Washington did this. Not only was it a despicable act, but his team ended up losing by 1 point. It's possible that if he had kept himself in the game, maybe USC could have snagged a victory. Well done, Leonard Washington. I hope you're happy.
