Less Than 24 Hours Till Gus Johnson: Xavier-Ohio State Finish Flashback
by CriticalFanatic

I don't know about you guys, but I'm already getting that tingling feeling in my chest as if I were playing tomorrow. Much of this has to do with knowing Gus Johnson will get us started at 12:30 with Michigan State and Temple.

To help get you in the proper mindset, here's the classic finish between Xavier and Ohio State last year that is yet another staple soundbite from our man Gus. By the way, I'd forgotten about Greg Oden tossing aside that Musketeer with :10 play.

Enjoy. (Ignore the Ohio State stuff at the beginning)

... Aaaaaand we're going to overtime, in Lexington. HA-HA! College Basketball, CBS Sports. THIS is March Madness.

Excellent, I'll be getting that game locally here.  I hope teachers let us watch though, one said he'd have it on during a test, but unfortunately that probably means that Gus will be muted.

At least there's a ton of games for later.
No mute button can silence Gus.

Soooo many chills watching that over again...

And how do you forget Oden's mini-rampage? I remember watching it last year at my friends place (HDTV), and I jumped off of the couch when the Xavier guy is chucked. Three friends of mine, not having a clue about basketball, are all just wondering wtf all that was..I couldn't explain.

That was the game that cost me my bracket last year. I picked Xavier to lose to Ohio St. and I was feeling good, then the last two minutes and overtime happened.

I totally forgot about that as well. How was that not an intentional foul again? He did not even come close to making a play on the ball, and the two handed chest shove should have been another clue. He shoved him like the guy took his AARP magazine from him.

Another classic call by Gus. I know that Sportsbook at Ballys was going to have a riot if Ohio St. did not win.

That may be true.  Only a few guys are loud enough, among them Gus, Screamin A., and Skip Bayless.  The volume of those 3 in a room together would create a paradox and the world would explode.

Only if 2 of those 3 would just explode instead...
