The Oilers drafted Linus Omark in the 4th round of the 2007 NHL Draft. In hindsight, that might have been a huge steal, as this kid looks like he has enormous potential. As in, he can score at will. This goal that he scored for Sweden against Switzerland just might be the most amazing shootout goal that I've ever seen.

Not surprisingly, this guy does stuff like this all the time. While it's a bit premature to say, he has done things that I've only seen from guys like Alexander Ovechkin. Once this kid gets to the Oilers... watch out.

This is more of the kind of thing that the NHL needs to continue boosting their image and bringing people back to the game.

the kid has some mad skills. If he does turn out to be that great - it will go down in history similar to how MJ was taken number 3 you think Portland wants a do-over for taking Sam Bowie at 2 ??
