
Every summer it's the same story in Anaheim. While most fans and media alike are caught up with [insert Northeast team here], the Los Angeles Angels quietly go about their way, playing great baseball and grabbing Major League Baseball's best record.
That's right, not sure if you knew this or not, but the Fightin' Mike Scioscia's have the top record at 60-38.
It's great that the New York Yankees have won nine straight, and the Mets have recovered with Jerry Manuel at the help to enter into a first place tie in the NL East, and media will always continue to be dazzled by the Cubbies, but shouldn't we be paying attention to baseball's best team who just swept the Boston Red Sox?
I don't blame Angels fans for feeling overlooked and needing to go out of their way to grab attention. That said, I think this human rally monkey may be going a little too far:
