It would be fitting that on Halloween night, a Bat would delay a game between the San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings.
In only the second bat related delay that I can think of, the other being on March 9, 2002 in a game between the Rockets and Warriors, a bat literally halted the game for a few minutes until Manu Ginobili did what the Joker couldn't do and that was to take out the Bat...man.
After swooping down on the fast break with Kevin Martin the Bat flew away, to return only a few minutes later. And that is Ginobili took matters into his own hands when he slapped the bat out of the air and then took the bat to a trainer.
The bat actually has something in common with Ginobili. When it hit the ground, it flopped there while Ginobili usually flops then hits the ground.
