The Pittsburgh Penguins blanked the New York Rangers 3-0 today, and while the Penguins don't exactly look like they're heading back to the Stanley Cup Finals this year, they're at least willing to root on the Steelers who are looking to go to their sport's equivalent.
After the game ended, goalie Marc-Andre Fleury headed out onto the ice waving a terrible towel and rocking a Pittsburgh Steelers helmet. Where in the hell he got that helmet is anyone's guess, but frankly, that was awesome. Although, judging by the way the Penguins season has gone, I'm not sure whether or not this was a good omen for the Steelers.
Also, I can't be the only one who wants to see an NHL goalie wear an NFL helmet for a game. I would without question watch that game.
