Matt Hasselbeck Might Want To Stay Quiet During The Coin Toss Against Green Bay

Even without the numerous reminders this week, I'm sure you haven't forgotten Matt Hasselbeck's unfortunate sequence the last time Seattle visited Green Bay in the playoffs.
"We'll take the ball, and we're going to score."
Al Harris had other plans. Oops.

I give him the credit for having cajones to speak so boldly - something his teammates is severely lacking - but I'm pretty sure Matt will stay quiet tomorrow afternoon.

(disclaimer: I actually don't hate the Seahawks, despite my posts this week. When the ball is set up on a tee ... you hit it.)

Its hard to feel bad after a big win, but I did feel a little bad for Hasselbeck.  He's a good QB, and often gets ignored, and now unfortunately the only time he gets remembered is for this.

And for his brother having a hot wife. Which is nice.

I actually liked the confidence he showed by saying that. I mean he leaned in and said it so everyone could hear. It is just too bad that he did throw a TD pass...to the other team.

"Staying Quiet" - this is a good reminder for fans and players alike. I think we can all find ourselves forgetting sometimes that every team in the playoffs got there for a reason. In other words, don't start counting your chickens before they hatch. It's one thing to be confident in your team and want them to win, but it's another thing to gloat and put another team down before the clock counts down to zero in the fourth quarter or overtime.
