I'm not going to say Michael Barrett had this coming, but he had this coming. While I loved both cheap shots he gave to A.J. Pierzynski and Carlos Zambrano, it was just a matter of time before karma made it's way back around.

Thanks to The Fightin's we've got video of Barrett gruesome foul ball off an Ubaldo Jiminez pitch that somehow manage to redirect right up into his grill. It takes a unique talent, the same talent that is batting .202, to pull off this feat.

Barrett was taken to a local hospital for examination, where the preliminary diagnosis was poor hitting and a fractured nose.
