Like most of you I spent a significant portion of my childhood mimicking the bizarre MLB batting stances of my youth. I also had a particular fascination with Tony Pena's catcher stance, which I quickly learned wasn't very defensive. All of that is healthy, normal fan behavior for kids.
Dressing up in a replica goalie outfit, standing behind the goal and copying every single move of your favorite player is not.
Check out this kid who literally plays a game of simon says with Flames goalie Miikka Kiprosuff. It's impressive ... and creepy.
You have to admire his dedication (I think), but I'm guessing young Miikka might have a little trouble making friends when he gets older.
I was hoping they would have the camera on the kid when Miikka rinsed his mouth with the water and spit it out. I bet the lady in front of the kid wasn't smiling so much then.
