Milton Bradley Explanation: Explodes At Umpire, Gets Injured In Process

Milton Bradley does have a reputation, but he probably doesn't deserve this treatment if what he says is believed to be true. Milton also has a reputation of having a fragile body along with his mind so it's mildly ironic he was injured what flipping out at first base umpire Mike Winters.

A small part of me does actually feel bad for Milton. First base coach Bobby Meachem has this to say in response:
"In 26 years of baseball, I can honestly say that's the most disconcerting conversation I have ever heard from an umpire to a player," Meacham said. "It was almost like he wanted to agitate the whole thing. He wanted to get Milton boiling for some reason. Milton, he held his cool. I was just appalled."
Overall a very bad weekend for the Padres (and SD sports altogether).

If he really threw the bat, then why wasn't it addressed at the time, rather than 3 innings later?

Sounds like Winters has some issues.

There are only four people who know what really happended Meachem, Milton, Helton, and the first base ump. All I know is that what happended was wrong and Somebody needs to do something because umpires are getting out of hand in baseball. They are supposed to keep there cool no matter what, They have no right to run after any player or say anything Racial or anything of that nature. I personally believe that first base ump needs to be suspended or fined because umps are getting out of hand the games not about them it's about the players.
