There's nothing funny about the ugly minor league brawl between the Dayton Dragons and Peoria Chiefs. Who knows what Julio Castillo could have possibly been thinking when he launched a fastball towards the Dragons dugout from just 30 feet away, only to miss high and hit a fan who was seriously injured.

Just an ugly, ugly scene that makes me want to look back at what minor league fights should be about. Creativity and humor.

Izzy Alcántara executed on both, in this now famous fight where he, playing for the Pawtucket Red Sox, karate-kicked the catcher before charging the mound against the Scanton-Wilkes Barre Red Barons.
