You may have heard rumors earlier this week that a receiver named Edwin Baptiste for Morgan State made a catch against Salem State this past weekend that was so ridiculous that it had the power to bend time and heal all of mankind's troubles.

That may be slight hyperbole, although maybe it isn't. Here's the catch in all it's crazy glory.

Not too shabby for a French guy either.

0	Its a great catch. However, the best catch I have seen is "The Catch" made by Tyrone Prothro from Alabama against Southern Miss back in 2005. It won both College Football Play of the Year, and an Espy. Also, a very famous sports artist, Daniel Moore, made a print for this play (other artists did the same, Greg Gamble).

Sorry, but color me unimpressed. I think of Antonio Freeman's catch on Monday Night Football way back when. Or Nebraska's miracle 4th down catch vs. Missouri in the 90s! And those are certainly not even the tops. I'm sure there are some pretty spectacular Terrell Owens catches or Randy Moss catches, or even someone like Ed McCaffrey that you could find that would put this one to shame. So he extended well? He wasn't even being covered!
