It was a perfect Sunday for David Stern as his two marquee stars put on a show.
Lebron, with an improved supporting cast but nowhere near Kobe's, carried the Cavs with 23 first half points and 6 straight down the stretch with the game on the line. Two of those point came on one of the biggest dunks of the season. See below.
Kobe followed this up with a 52 point explosion, highest in the NBA this year, against the Dallas Mavericks at home. 30 of which came in the 4th quarter and overtime.
Two superstar performances. So who's your NBA MVP right now? Lebron James for carrying a mediocre team and leading the Association in scoring and averaging 8.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists. Or is Kobe who's 2nd in scoring and on the best team in the league?
Or are you going with someone else? I'm giving Lebron the edge right now, but we still have 6 weeks to go.
