In other news they HELD A D-LEAGUE DRAFT ON TV last night, in HD no less. Because I have a sinking suspicion you forgot to TiVo it, here's your full recap. Riveting stuff. That's what I'm here for.

Congrats (I think) to Eddie Gill for being the first player selected by the, uh, 14ers. Also of note:

3) Albuquerque Thunderbirds – Darvin Ham
12) Austin Toros – Kevin Pittsnogle

Yes, Austin, you're about to be Pittsnogled. What I enjoy most about the D-League is the team names. No one was sober during that meeting. We have the D-Fenders, 14ers AND 66ers and best of all the Mad Ants.

I'm sure you can do better -- what do you suggest for the next NBDL team nickname?
