Back in 2006, I lived in DC and actually attended a few Nationals games at the disgustingly old RFK Stadium. Things were so bad that they put a tarp over the old football scoreboard, rather than just remove it. The only reason I went to any games was because Alfonso Soriano was on the team for part of that year and because they gave away free hats once.
While the team is in a much nicer stadium now, the team itself still royally blows. But I had no idea it was this bad. Just watch this commercial that's currently airing for the Nats in DC.
Good lord is that ever pathetic. A walk off....walk? By the way, has this team ever even had a walk off home run? Good luck this season, Nationals fans. All four of you.
