As I'm sure you probably already know, during the Rays' asskicking of the Yankees last night Nick Swisher was brought in to pitch for the Yankees during the 8th inning. Impressively, Swisher made it out of the 8th without giving up a run and even struck out Gabe Kapler. Something tells me Kapler got a lot of crap after the game for that.

So the Yankees spent $161 million on CC Sabathia during the offseason and Swisher is their best pitcher. There's something oddly poetic about that.

2	maybe Nick could come pitch in the Rangers bullpen. We like to overpay guys who aren't really pitchers.
