But, at the same time, you get to do pretty cool things like drive around in injury carts and, um, play foosball I guess.

And if you're really good, you can definitely score a ton of chicks in the process.

Anyway, I bring all this up because the Oakland A's are indeed looking for someone to fill the roll of team mascot Stomper, who is legendary here in the Bay Area. Here are the requirements (via Bugs and Cranks).
Requirements:
• Due to costume restrictions, candidate must be at least 5 feet 7 inches and no more than 6 feet 2 inches and weighs between 165 lbs and 225 lbs
• Punctuality is mandatory and availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Must have own, reliable transportation
• Must be highly energetic and fit

Anyone interested in applying for this position must apply online AND send a DVD of a live performance along with a cover letter and résumé to Oakland A’s, Special Events Dept. attn: Mascot Opening, 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, CA 94621 by Friday, November14, 2008. No phone calls please.
Also, one of the other requirements is "Creating skits, dance routines, and other forms of mascot-related entertainment and crowd interaction."
If you think that's silly, trust me, it's not. Stomper is the world's best breakdancing mascot, so you better bring your A-game, son.
You just got served, random dude attending an A's game.
