I love the Olympics and the Michael Phelps love fest, don't get me wrong, but I also couldn't be any happier that the NFL is fast approaching. We know what that means, more Chad Johnson antics.

Ocho Cinco joined Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon on PTI last night and had a lot of interesting things to say. Naturally, he discussed the relationship with Carson Palmer and had him nicely stagged close by for a cute moment.

But then Chad Johnson directed his attention to the Olympics and Michael Phelps. You knew where this was headed. Yep, Chad says he could beat Phelps right now.

Don't laugh, don't laugh. He was a three time Charles Hadley Pool champ. You see, the problem with Phelps is he doesn't have any competition and most of that resides in the inner cities. Apparently.

It's good to have you back, Ocho Cinco.

1	chad , chad ,chad, if you played football as well as you ran your mouth, you would be a lock for the hall of fame. you would not be the 2nd best wr on your team. and plus you might have won a super bowl by now. you are great entertainment. maybe you should have gone to comedy central when you were crying about wanting out of cinci.

It is like the day the AP refused to write stories about Paris Hilton, then they decided not to for a month. They should try that with Ocho Cinco, but that may add fuel to the fire. He might decapitate a cameraman and run around throwing it at people like a handball at the olympics.
