You don't have to search very hard on this site to find posts of me ripping Oklahoma City for stealing the Sonics from Seattle. I've done everything from call Oklahoma City a "dust bowl" to saying no free agents would ever go there.
But you know what, I was wrong. I now love Oklahoma City. Well, not yet, but I will if they do this.
Oklahoma City is considering renaming the Sonics the Thundercats. Hell yes I'm excited, ho! Just think of the merchandising ties, alone. Bonanza!
Anyway, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer:
Word on the online street is that the OKC team might adopt the name "Thundercats." Someone has already parked oklahomacitythundercats.com and okcthundercats.comThe name was also used in a recent summer league game. Dear God, please let this be true.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Oklahoma City Voltrons. After all, it works perfectly. The team combines together to produce 25 wins.
