I don't know how many of you watched the Oregon/Arizona game on Saturday, but if you did, you were probably saying to yourself "What in the hell are those things on Oregon's uniforms?"
Well, in Phil Knight's quest to give Oregon the worst uniforms you can possibly imagine, wings were added to the Ducks' jerseys for Saturday's game. I wish I could tell you that like Icarus the Ducks foolishly flew too close to the sun before plummeting to their doom in the ocean, but instead they beat Arizona 55-45.
Here's another view of these bizarre unis.

Oregon has a habit of changing uniforms pretty much every week, so don't expect these uniforms to appear again. Instead, expect something like a graphic of Donald Duck defeating a fire-breathing dragon on the uniforms with day-glow helmets. Subtle, but gets the message across.
I'm sure everyone will approve of Oregon's next creation about as much as the announcers did of the team's Las Vegas Bowl uniforms from two years ago.
