Most of you probably missed this game, because a vast majority of football fans were watching the Cowboys-Steelers game when this happened, but there was at least one play in the Jets-49ers game that was worth watching. Over and over again, if you're someone like me.
Patrick Willis has been a beast ever since he entered the NFL, and now Brad Smith knows all about it. Smith was on the business end of one of Willis' most vicious hits. It almost looks like it snapped Smith's back in half, and he seemingly went limp, in what was definitely a scary moment.
Fortunately, Smith was alright (sort of), as you can see in this second video, which starts off from a different angle. After writhing on the ground for a bit, he jumped right up, as if everything was ok. But then, not surprisingly, he was back on the ground, and the medical staff had to come out and assist him.
Way to lead your receiver into a brick wall, Favre.
I was watching this game and flipping to DAL @ PIT during commercials. This is my last season with Sunday Ticket though. The hit looked bad, but SOUNDED much worse. Patrick Willis is straight-up nasty. WR's around the league are going to catch a case of T-Rex hands when the 49ers come to town.
