Two weks ago I was looking for any reason whatsoever to post this video and thought Darrelle Revis' hold out was good enough. Well, the true start of this amazing highlight was Pittsburgh's wide receiver Derek Kinder who laid out two Mountaineers in one fell block.
The Panthers are not only going to miss his blocking, but his hands this year, as Kinder has been lost with an ACL tear.
Kinder tore his right ACL after catching a pass over the middle during a seven-on-seven drill in Saturday's practice. For those who detest preseason games in the NFL, just know it's nearly as likely to get injured in practice. A necessary evil.
Kinder, a 2006 All-Big East selection and a Biletnikoff Award semi-finalist who caught 57 passes for 847 yards and 6 touchdowns, will have eligibility for 2008 since he has not used a redshirt season, but for 2007 the coaches will need to find a replacement for that production.
Because Kinder did more than just block, here's a video of his receiving skills.
