Rajon Rondo Dunks Over Dwight Howard
Celtics Fans Can Take Solace In The Better Moments, Even If They Only Happened Few And Far Between.
READ MORE:

The Celtics got smoked last night in Game 7 of their series against the Magic. Quite frankly, they got dominated from start to finish. Any positive moments for Celtics fans like myself were just that. Moments. Passing quickly, and transitioning into the next moment, where the Magic would take over the momentum again and remind everyone that they were going to win this game.

One such pleasant moment for Celtics fans was Rajon Rondo's dunk over Dwight Howard. To be fair, Da-wight never really had a chance. He was coming in to help from the baseline, and Rondo had already commenced takeoff by the time he got there. Rondo doesn't dunk too often, but when he does, he makes it special.

It's times like this that make me optimistic for next year, and the years to come. I'm not convinced that Danny Ainge has done it right, and I think that the Celtics aren't set up well for the future, but Rondo gives us hope.

The Celtics are going to be just fine - in fact if they can stay healthy I would put them right back in the mix next year. They could easily give any team in the NBA a fight when they are firing on all cylinders.

Hell - they almost got to the Eastern Conference finals w/o arguably their best player...

Who cares about the future ... you can talk about how you won the championship for the next 20 years. Not like my team (Mavs) who basically had the Heat down 2-0 and were about to go up 3-0 and choked the series away.

I'm optimistic for the future. Our bench played all year for us, this years starters are next years bench players. Your gonna have all that experience on the bench......assuming they keep our team together. There are some unrestricted and some restricted free agents that we need to tend to.

Without Rondo for game 7 against the Bulls like it should have been the Celts would have been gone in the first round.  They definetly did play well without Garnett though.

U know how I knew this game was done by the middle of the 3rd quarter the Celtic's body language was horrible.  I'm sad about the B's but not the C's.  So I could care less I got Orlando/Denver trying to get to the finals ya dig!!!!!

Quite frankly the Celts played with Character and a LOT OF HEART... Lets face it... The Celtics were in a Gunfight and all they had was a butter knife... We will be back.  So Lebron the King may be dead for now but the new King had better grab a title before next year because we will be back!!!

Well, we all know that KG wasn't there for stubborn CELTICS... If they have let KG played, we don't know what have happened!

let me shed some light on your situation. Both Doc Rivers and Danny Ainge said its up to KG, if he wants to go, he can go. Its up to the player. KG wasnt kept out of the game, KG kept himself out of the game, which he must have had enough cause to do so.

If the Doc tells you the following ... " If you get hit there again i wont be able to fix it .. you could be crippled for life." whats your response? Me i sit out these playoffs and offseason .. rehab and take another stab at it next year.

no question about it. I agree 100% which is why I said, KG kept himself out of the game, and he must have had enough just cause to do so.

I would much rather see a full strength KG at the start of next season then a 50% kg in the playoffs now.
